This website needs a major facelift. Has we are no longer racing asphalt and all the header graphics show the asphalt car and such. Not to mention the website coding is well dated. Just to let everyone know. I will be working on some new things for the website..... again.

Missed racing on the 3rd, but finally made the 10th for the last points race of the season. Things started bad, we had a blowout on the trailer on the way to the track. No spare of course, (dummy me), but we limped in to the track. Good thing we left the shop early. Steven drew the outside pole in Heat Two. The green flag dropped, and he never looked back. Led flag to flag for the first victory of his dirt racing career! That put him on the outside pole for the feature. He was running second for a couple of laps, when the 65 got up on the inside and forced him up to the top side. Three cars got by, but he passed one car back to take fourth spot. Then, coming off Turn Two, all hell broke loose. The 42 car ended up running over the left front and launching into the air. It tore up the left front tire and wheel, mashed in the left fender (again) and tore the hood all up (again). It ripped the air cleaner off, and cut up the left rear tire, too. I think there were at least three cars involved. The car was hooked up and looked great. Steven was doing a great job until he got run over, again. A disappointing end to what was shaping up to be our best night.I think we got tenth in points, though, we'll have to wait for the final standings to come out. Special Thanks to Rick Dooley for letting us park the trailer at his house overnight. And congrats to Jacob and Charlie Ebert on winning the B-Mod championship! One more race, on October 1st. We're discussing fixing the car for that one, or just calling it a season.

After getting all excited with the last post, I've been informed that Steven has to work Sunday. So, Saturday racing only.

With a rainout two weeks ago, and a broken axle bearing discovered too late to get another one, we've missed out on racing for too long. This weekend is a Labor Day double header, so we'll be running Saturday AND Sunday! A lot of towing, but a lot of racing.

Saturday is a points race, and after missing last week we've dropped to eleventh. We're still mathematically able to make the top ten, though. That's the goal, and that wouldn't be bad after missing the first 3 or 4 races this year! That'll get us to the CARB banquet...

See you Saturday! Come on out to CMS for two nights of great racing!

After several weeks on the dirt, the car is wrinkled, but the driver is showing his talent. The pit crew is still trying to catch up, though. At least we have plenty of power, thanks to Accent on Performance in Blue Springs, MO. A spring and shock change are due this week, but first some crash repair due to, I guess, a payback. We got taken out Saturday night by a car that we've had a couple of unintentional incidents with this season. I guess he didn't think they were unintentional. While I'm updating, a big thanks to Accent on Performance, Huey at Day Automotive for the extra efforts he made to help us, and car owner Joe Jester.
